These two love birds have style!! I met with them at a nearby coffee house in Cleveland and after our meeting I could not wait for the day of the shoot! Super intelligent and cool…I knew their idea for the shoot was going to rock!! I just have to say that Matt’s suspenders and feather in the pocket are the “bomb” (high pitch voice) This was my first shoot at Point Park in Chattanooga…Gorgeous place and the hike down the steep mountain was worth it! Sara’s love of books and Matt’s love of music blended well with this shoot and the location! They were perfect!

Our family fell in love with Amanda 4 years ago when she came to Lee as a freshman student! Cool new student from NYC…perfect accent and personality…she could not have been any more authentic! She soon became part of our family! Jayson and I are so thrilled that she found the LOVE of her life and is now married, graduated, and moving forward with life! She could not have picked a more perfect gentleman to spend her life with! It delights me to see her happy!

Rylan {Infant shoot}

Oh How I loved capturing Rylan…so sweet and precious! Mommy was right there to help…nothing like mommy’s tender touch that soothes her baby to sleep. I almost hired Jennifer on the spot, she was that good! Infant photography takes a lot of time and patience…you gotta love it! Holding and shaping each baby is an art for me, I cant explain the feeling I get when I’m on a shoot…its just surreal for me!

This beautiful blond will kick you butt any day…seriously, she’s a police officer here in Cleveland. I know what you are thinking…no way…because my husband said the same thing. She’s so beautiful! I admire her for what she does! When Jennifer contacted me several months ago to do this shoot, I was delighted! I love maternity shoots!! We met at Starbucks to drive to our location and having a police officer behind me the entire time was a little nerve racking….I immediately apologized for my speediness when I got out of the car…I just cant help it! Jennifer is so cool, sweet, and fun to be around..the coolest police officer I know…

What a precious couple, Kayla and Brock! Gotta love the downtown Cleveland area! Gorgeous walls, windows and buildings! Kayla just graduated this weekend from Lee university and soon will be married!! These kids are growing up so fast! I remember when Kayla was just a freshman and getting to know her when she got in Sigma Nu Sigma! It’s been awesome to see what a beautiful woman she has become these past few years! Bright future for the both of them…cant wait to see it!

Better late then never…right! I’ve been meaning to blog on this precious family. I’ve gotten to know Amy this year, through friends, bible studies and Freedom Letters! I’m so glad our paths have crossed! The Tippens family are in the process of adopting, beautiful Hannah from Ethiopia! I’m truly blessed and in awe every time I hear how they began this journey! Pretty soon she will be here! We all can’t wait to embrace little Hannah!

These lyrics get me all the time. As easy as it is to say or sing them, nothing can prepare us for adversity. We cling to God who is our source of strength and our healer.

You might be wondering why a family shoot in this gorgeous chapel? This family lost a very precious family member a few years ago that tore many hearts throughout this city….Change their lives. This chapel now holds a special place…a beautiful window to the left of them, that is dedicated to her.

Here are two amazing people! LOVE them so much! I’ve had the honor of knowing them for over 15 years! Lester and I were in Voices of Lee together when it first started in 1994! We got to sing all over the states and overseas some! Great memories, touring, while in college! Lester and Holly have released several albums in the past few years and are ready to launch another one soon! I was thrilled to get a call from them!! I wanted to do something different with them…cool…edgy! The Chattanooga Choo Choo worked out to be the perfect location for this shoot…so colorful…lots of places to work with!

As busy as I’m, I have to allow some time for some personal fun shooting! My biggest dream is to one day roam the streets of Denmark…anywhere in Europe where my feet would hit the cobble stone walkway…but for now I will utilize my home and its natural light…today was one of those days! This is how I fell in love with photography several years ago…finding beauty in the simple things and using light as my primary guide….
