Taryn & Brian

I feel so lucky at times to be able to live in such a beautiful state!! Gotta love the mountains that surround this region!! We had a fun shoot at the Ocoee River, where the kayaking events for the Olympics were held in 1996!! This has been one of my favorite places to visit since I was a freshmen in college and not once have I ever seen Blue hole running with water…the sound of the rushing water and the clean mountain air was perfect for a fun engagement shoot!!

How cool is that!!! Are you from TN?

Marketing & Packaging fun!

My love of photography came through still life images and capturing them.  Which is really funny for me because I grew up making fun of people who would go on vacations and bring back pictures of some random bird or bottle they had seen on their trip…yeah…I did not get it…I thought it was a waste of good film.  Well that idea changed over a year ago as I began to explore photography and composition!!! I would find myself taking pictures of random things for hours…this is where I learned composition, lighting, perspective and the overwhelming joy of photography!! From tea cups to fruit and vibrant autumn leaves came a dream to capture not only the still world around me but to capture life. I’m so thrilled to be able to wake up daily to the idea that I do this!!!  So in sharing all this…here is a few still life images I took recently! I learned how to make fabric flowers!!! Very easy…. this will add a little personal touch for all my clients…. a little hand made gift from me!

oh arlyne, i love your thoughts… yes, i also remember that there was a time in which i didn’t understand so many things about photography. and now i face those people who don’t understand the reason why i am focusing so much on a old door! most of the times when i wander in lisbon doing that, i think that people think that i am here on vacations… therefore pictures on everything! your work is lovely and i loved your cards!!! hugs, twiggs
